Cincoze DX-1000: beyond the limits of fanless computing

Tuesday, October 31, 2017

DX-1000 is the new series of Cincoze fanless systems based on workstation class Intel® C236 chipset, able to work with 6th and 7th generation of Intel® Core ™ i3 / i5 / i7 and Xeon® processors with LGA1151 socket (Skylake and Kabylake families).

These new systems excel in graphic applications thanks to the integrated Intel Gen. 9 controller with support for 4K UHD video streams and support for DDR4 RAM up to 32GB for high performances in "multi-task" applications.

DX-1000 systems are based on the Cincoze modular design criteria. The basic interface set offers 3 independent video outputs (DVI-I and 2x DisplayPort), 2x Intel Gigabit Ethernet ports, 8x USB 3.0 and 4x RS-232/422/485. Thanks to the CMI and CFM expansion modules it is therefore possible to add on-demand functions such as RS-232/422/485, 16x digital I/O optically isolated, up to 8 Gigabit or Power over Ethernet LAN ports, and power ignition modules for vehicular applications. In addition the system offers 4x internal Mini PCI Express sockets and 1x SIM socket to enable the addition of wireless features such as GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, WWAN.

The DX-1000 series also offers two external accessible and hot-swappable HDD/SSD bays with RAID 0/1 support for applications that need data redundancy.

The DX-1000 systems are completely fanless, jumperless, cable-free and offer an operating temperature range from -40 ° to + 70 ° C with high tolerance to shocks and vibrations (5/50 Grms).

The DX-1000 series represents the optimal solution for applications in harsh environments that require high performance and compact dimensions.

DX-1000 systems offer extremely high MTBF values (> 450,000 hours) and are certified for industrial, railway (EN-50155, EN-50121-3-2) and automotive (E-mark) applications
